SF Alley explores San Francisco’s downtown alleys, showing their hidden beauty and unique character. These narrow alleys often seem invisible and forgotten in everyone's daily life, but they also reflect the city's changes and identity. San Francisco is known for its rolling hills, painted houses, and Victorian architecture. However, behind this image lies a vast disparity between neighborhoods, along with rapid gentrification and rising housing prices. Some alleys are old and neglected, while others are clean and modern. Each one reveals something about the city’s past and present.

By photographing these spaces, the project aims to show parts of the city that are slowly disappearing and being forgotten. The alleys may seem ordinary, but they hold stories, history, and quiet charm. Using black and white photos and simple square compositions, I focus on light, shadow, and structure. I want to show people the value of what is usually ignored, finding beauty and meaning in the small, hidden parts of the city
